Re: FAIB and Inflight-Magazine Silkwinds

Nice, yeah that definitely warants you to free flights with them for life ;)
Well, it is Silk Air, don't know if you really want to fly on them.

But I must say, using the FAIB profiles looks ten times better than what they normally use, and much more accurate.

Re: I am stuck for hours.

I normally work with the wireframe to see where the seams end and where parts meet. It helps me when painting such schemes immensely. You should not need to work both sides. Work one side, get it looking right, then copy and past to the other side with the alignment marks. This is the only way to as...

Re: What's next

Even if I make the Queen it is unlikely there will be any variant other then the -400. And if you make the whale, you can count on pics of any detail you need. Hopefully you will also make the -8, it would be nice to see your attention to detail on both models. The Aardvarks are nice, but they real...

Re: Airline repaint request.

I'm looking for good source material for the Flagship Freedom of AAL. Can't find any decent logos or pics of the fonts to make my own. The Astro jet, I might do eventually. AAL looks like they might get a new livery in their brand new 777-300ER, so I'm kind of holding on doing any other AAL variants...

Conoco Philips B737-700

Hi Erez Any chance you might want to paint this one? Would be great to have a match to your Conoco B732s http://www.airliners.net/photo/Untitled-%28Shared-Services/Boeing-737-7BD/1850329/L/&sid=52c28806b1a7904756d91c5a37fc991b http://www.airliners.net/photo/Boeing-737-7BD/1740976/L/&sid=52c2...

Re: Pretty please?

I think it would be the perfect successor to the BAe 146 series. Look at the size of those flaps, and with those main wheel bogeys I'm sure it stops on a dime.

I want one. 8-)

Pretty please?

OK, I'll admit I would prefer a UI model of this sweet little machine, but maybe you get inspired by this shot:

What do you think Erez?

Re: 735 BMI Baby

Yeah, guys. Can someone "fix" this? Those large textures (2048x2048) aren't so FS9 friendly. I'm not sure how to "down size" those textures for my sim. Also, in the Aircraft.cfg, both aircraft show texture.BMIbaby NC 3D. G_BVZE should be texture.BMIbaby NC. Steve It is not that ...

Re: Blurry winglet

IMHO 32bit textures for AI is total overkill. I find that for flying purposes I'm never close enough to any AI aircraft to spot DXT compression and for me the tradeoff between a slight quality loss but significantly improved performance is well worth it and I'm sure Mariano agrees after he did the ...

Re: 737-Classics with winglets vs. Logo light

Hi JP Yes, the problem comes from a feature in the FSX models. The way Erez built the model in FSX, it will not light the tail unless the logo light model is used. The problem with this is that while it assures no logo light splash on the winglet and normal FSX model, you still need to turn off that...

Re: Our next AI model...

I will just include a desperate plea for re painters in the FS9 PK to also paint in the HD FSX format for those of us who moved on to FSX/P3D. Yikes, good luck with that. Painters have ignored readme pleas for years now. But if the smaller FS9 paints still work in FSX, I guess we can live with the ...
