Hi
what is the advantage of your model in contrary of AIA?
which models do you plan for the future?
747SP also?
Hello Toni,
The models offer a better capture of the shape of the 737 then the AIA.
My goal was not just FPS but also an accurate as possible rendition.
As for planning for the future, currently the 737 NG’s are in full swing, after that its still undecided.
Sorry when I ask you again
UTT united traffic team has also brought a 737-200 package out.
Do you work with them?
Id not, would it be not better, when you talk with them about projects to avoid double model development?
UTT and FAIB are two separate entities.
Unfortunately most projects are not revealed before they are quite close to completion,
I cant answer for UTT but when I began making the -200 I had no idea anyone else was working on the same model.
As far as making the same models, its never bad having a choice of models and it shouldn’t affect the performance of your flight simulator.
Also a small observation, in the future it would be much better having these discussions on the forum rather then the comment system.
You really should check their websites, because many models are coming in the next future, like 747-8I, 747-8F
787 V2, 767, Phenom 300 and others
Thanks for these very nice AI versions of the 737’s. I am looking for a nice and good contrail effect. I saw in fsx that when one of your 737’s flying around a nice contrail fx is rendered. I wonder which contrail_fx you are using and how i can use it on other ai traffic? Maybe it is a existing fsx contrail fx so where in you cfg file can I find the link to this fx?
Thank you very much.
Please keep up this very good work.
If it is a screen shot I made it might be an effect from AS2012, otherwise I am not aware of any special contrail effects.
I will say that any new model is welcome, especially to FSX where so many previous AI groups have gone quiet and pushing out less and less models per year its great to see a new group and producing TOP QUALITY models! hats off to you and thank you!
Hi
I noticed that the gear system is not adjusted well.
The nose gear is a little bit in the air while taxong.
I tried a little bit to adjust a number in on the contact points in the aircraft.cfg.
The problem still is that when the aircraft brakes and continous to taxi, the nose gear moves up a little bit before it touches again the ground.
I noticed that with the 737 400/500.
Also I have to say that the nose front could be more detailed. Compared to the AIA. The AIA mode in my opinion is in the nose area more detailed and looks more plastic.
Hope you can improve that. The shape of your 737 model looks in general better.
I notied that whem I installed Textures of Philip Tabatnik.
Hi Toni, in the future please post issues in the forum.
As for the contact points I have tested them inside my FS9 install and did not find any error, nevertheless they have been reworked in the upcoming SP1 and hopefully this will solve your problem.
As far as the nose goes the FAIB is much more accurate for example the cockpit windows and eyebrow are much better. the FAIB model features more details in almost every area from more detailed landing gears and rotating nose gear steering, modeled gear bays, much better and accurate wing, flaps, flap bays, etc. all of these in only roughly 1.8 times the amount of polygons in the AIA models.
In my opinion the most important thing in the FAIB model is the proper native FSX model with proper nightlights unlike the AIA FSX models and HD 2048X2048 paint kit.
