Erez,

First, many thanks by the very great work for all us that love AI Traffic. I´m want enhance the lightmap for the 737 due this bellow image

In the 737-300/400/500, same question.

Ok, im a deep nut by the traffic and love see the moving in airports... my question is... why i will change on "always on" lightmap for the each plane _L texture shows the "new" logolight?

Tks by att! Best regards.

You could achieve this with the always on texture but the logo light will not be "controllable" by the AI pilot anymore which means on all the time.
Unfortunately due to the way the 737/A32X paint kits were made it is not possible for me to retrofit a controllable area for the fuselage without updating the alpha channel of every paint released.

Hello VSP4264,

I was scrolling through the forums and came across your post here which caught my attention as I too have been interested in the 737 lightmap. I did actually work on ways of making it possible using effects as Erez described above for there to be a modification to texture files it would mean having to go through every single paintjob there is. Using effects it works great and as it should do if using the aircraft as a user aircraft for testing, but in the AI environment it would appear that the use of effects means that the splashes on the engine and fuselage would illuminate during the day also as they are assigned to the landing light and logolight command respectively.
Here is an example of the lighting on a -400 paint I made a few months back to show what I've done.

Kind regards to you both.

-Adam
